Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jun 3 (PTI) A half-burnt body of a man with its hands tied was found in the jungle near a village here, police said on Wednesday.
Due to the state of the body, police suspect that the victim was murdered elsewhere and the body was later dumped at the spot near Chandedi village.
Circle Officer Gajendra Pal Singh told reporters that the body has not been identified so far.
“The body was found in a partially burnt condition with the hands tied. It has been sent for post-mortem examination, and efforts are being made to ascertain the identity of the deceased,” Singh said.
