Gandhinagar, Sep 18 (PTI) The Gujarat government on Friday appointed four IPS officers as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) and transferred six State Police Services (SPS) officers as Commandants of State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) groups.
IPS officer Mansi R Meena was appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Viramgam Division, Ahmedabad, said a notification issued by the Home Department.
Mausam Mehta was appointed as ASP, Deodar Division, Vav-Tharad.
Prakhar Kumar was appointed as ASP, Khambhalia Division in Devbhumi Dwarka, while Karankumar Panna was appointed as ASP, Limkheda Division in Dahod district.
Further, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (North), Vadodara City J I Vasava was transferred and appointed to the vacant ex-cadre post of Commandant, SRPF, Group-9, Vadodara.
Visnagar Superintendent of Police D M Chauhan was transferred and appointed as Commandant, SRPF, Group-3 in Banaskantha district’s Madana, the notification said.
SRPF Group-15 Commandant (Asst Commandant) in Mehsana ONGC, Prakashkumar Raval, was appointed to the vacant ex-cadre post of SRPF Group-4 Commandant in Pavdi, Dahod.
B L Desai, Panchmahal, Godhra headquarters SP, was transferred as SRPF Group-5 Commandant in Godhra.
H P Doshi was transferred from his post as SP, Police Training Centre, Chowkey, Sorath and appointed as Commandant of SRPF Group-13, Rajkot.
F Division Deputy Commissioner of Police, Surat City, L B Zala was appointed as SRPF Group-11 Commandant in Surat’s Vav, the notification stated. PTI KVM KRK
