New Delhi, Jun 5 (PTI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday alleged that examination paper leaks have become a “multi-crore business” involving influential people and claimed that the Centre has failed to take action to curb the problem.

In a video posted on X, Kejriwal asked why paper leaks continue to recur despite repeated controversies surrounding major examinations.

He claimed that no paper leak took place during the AAP’s tenure in Delhi or Punjab and contrasted it with alleged irregularities in exams conducted by central agencies.

“The issue is one of intent. If the intention is clear, paper leaks can be prevented,” Kejriwal said.

Referring to past controversies related to recruitment and entrance exams, he alleged that firms accused of lapses in exam processes continued to receive contracts and accountability remained inadequate.

The former Delhi chief minister also cited the controversy surrounding the NEET and questioned measures announced by authorities to strengthen the transportation of question papers.

He alleged that if leaks occur during the paper-setting stage, changes in transportation arrangements alone would not address the root cause of the problem. He claimed that those responsible for irregularities were being shielded instead of facing strict action.

Paper leaks have become a lucrative business involving large sums of money and influential individuals, Kejriwal alleged.

The AAP leader called on students and citizens to collectively raise their voices against examination malpractices and demand reforms in the system.

“Unless people come together and press for change, the system will not improve,” he said. PTI SHB VN VN
