Jaipur, Jun 11 (PTI) Leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly Tika Ram Jully on Thursday took a swipe at Union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw after a power cut disrupted his press conference here, saying even the electricity in the state could not tolerate “lies”.
In a statement issued here, the Congress leader said the disruption reflected the BJP government’s inability to answer questions about its performance.
“Today, lies are not even tolerated by the electricity in Rajasthan,” Jully said.
He accused the BJP government of taking credit for work carried out by previous governments.
“They have cut countless ribbons at others’ works, but when it was time to give their own account, the electricity just went out,” he said.
“You have taken plenty of credit for the Congress’ achievements, but in the last 12 years, what have you built of your own,” Jully asked. PTI AG DIV DIV
