New Delhi, Apr 18 (PTI) Senior IAS officer Kaushal Raj Sharma, who was working as Chief Executive Officer of DJB, has been appointed as secretary to Delhi LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu, an order said.
Sharma was appointed as the Delhi Jal Board’s CEO last year in May.
He has earlier served as DM in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency, Varanasi.
Sharma, an officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, undertook several developmental projects related to the water sector in the national capital during his time in DJB, sources said.
His appointment last year was seen as a significant step to bring much-needed improvements to the water and sewer management infrastructure of the national capital. PTI SSM APL APL
