New Delhi, Jul 13 (PTI) An 18-year-old a food delivery partner was stabbed to death following an alleged dispute over an order in south Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar area, with police arresting two accused and recovering the weapon used in the crime, an officer said on Monday.
The incident took place on the night of July 10, when police received a PCR call around 9.30 pm reporting a stabbing in the area, the officer said.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured Krishna Roshan (18) to the AIIMS Trauma Centre. The victim died during treatment, he said.
During investigation, police examined CCTV footage from the area, questioned locals and analysed technical evidence, leading to the identification of the accused, the officer said.
The probe revealed that the murder stemmed from a dispute over non-delivery of certain food items, following which the accused confronted Roshan, triggering an argument. The altercation turned violent and the teen was allegedly stabbed multiple times, police said.
The accused, identified as Rahul alias Dhobi and Rahul Tomar alias Mota, both residents of Subhash Camp in Dakshinpuri, were arrested from Jahanpanah City Forest. Further investigation into the matter is underway. PTI BM BM ARB ARB
