Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), May 23 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said here that Sanjeevani, a health record digitisation and services programme, will be launched across the state on August 15.
Addressing a public meeting at Kandriga village in Chittoor district, the chief minister noted that Sanjeevani, which was launched as a pilot project in Kuppam in July 2025, will monitor every aspect needed for good health.
“We have decided to start Sanjeevani project across the state on August 15. The government took up measures to undertake 42 medical tests right at home and handover the reports,” Naidu said, adding that Sanjeevani was aimed at delivering the best health services to people.
Emphasising that the Sanjeevani is a citizen wellness programme mission, the TDP supremo promised to bring forth ‘AI doctor’ services soon.
He said Sanjeevani is not just a software, but a top digital public health operative system, which will offer advanced healthcare virtually right at home.
For the welfare of society, the CM observed that Sanjeevani was conceptualised with predictive, preventive and curative approaches, adding that real development means issuing pre-emptive health warnings before diseases strike and making relevant treatment available. PTI STH KH
