New Delhi, Apr 24 (PTI) A fire broke out at DU’s Hindu College on Friday morning, officials told PTI, adding that no casualties were reported.

A call regarding the blaze was received at 11.23 am, following which six fire tenders were rushed to the spot, a DFS official said.

“The fire broke out in a computer lab. It has been doused, and cooling operations are currently underway,” the officer told PTI.

Friday is also the second day of the college’s annual fest, and students said the incident caused a slight delay in the scheduled events.

No immediate response was available from the college administration.

The incident comes days after a fire broke out on the campus of Delhi University’s Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. PTI AHD BM SMV APL
