New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) Delhi BJP on Saturday announced the appointment of office bearers in its 11 district units, providing 33 per cent reservation to female leaders and workers.
The state organisation, including the district and block units, are part of the reshuffling undertaken after Harsh Malhotra became the new president of Delhi BJP earlier this month, replacing Virendra Sachdeva.
Among the new district-level functionaries, 33 per cent representation was given to female party leaders and workers as per the commitment of the national leadership towards women empowerment, Malhotra said.
The youth have also been given ample opportunity in the reorganisation process, Malhotra said.
The list of office bearers in three districts, namely Outer Delhi, West Delhi and Najafgarh, will be announced later after consultation with the district presidents concerned, said a Delhi BJP statement. PTI VIT AMJ AMJ
