New Delhi, Apr 18 (PTI) The CAQM Enforcement Task Force, in its meeting, reviewed reports from 162 inspections and enforcement actions carried out in the National Capital Region area between March 27 and April 10.
The flying squads carried out inspections across 25 construction and demolition sites, 28 in the industrial sector and 109 related to diesel generator sets.
Up to 64 violations were reported, with most (42) related to diesel generator sets.
The Enforcement Task Force also noted special enforcement drives, including inspections related to road dust mitigation, conducted in the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram on April 7, where multiple zones were inspected and 126 violations were reported.
The municipal authorities concerned have been directed to take necessary corrective actions, including issuing SCNs for repeated non-compliance.
