BJP chief Nitin Nabin offers prayers at Siddhivinayak temple, Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 16 (PTI) BJP president Nitin Nabin on Wednesday visited the famous Siddhivinayak temple and Lalbaughcha Raja in Mumbai amid the ongoing Ganesh festival, and offered prayers to the elephant-headed god.

Nabin is on a daylong visit to Mumbai and Pune on the occasion of Ganesh festival, which commenced on Monday.

He was accompanied by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Mumbai BJP president Ameet Satam.

Speaking to reporters, Nabin said he was fortunate to visit Maharashtra on the occasion of Ganesh festival as it is his first visit to the state after becoming the BJP president.

“I am overwhelmed and pray for the welfare of Maharashtra and the country,” he said. PTI MR NP
