Ranchi, Jul 17 (PTI) Birla Institute of Technology-Mesra and the Indian Institute of Technology-Bhubaneswar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration in research, academics, innovation, and institutional capacity building, an official said.
The agreement establishes a five-year framework, extendable by mutual consent, covering collaborative research, joint supervision of students, faculty and student exchange, academic programmes, and technology-driven innovation, he said.
The MoU was signed by Prof Indranil Manna, Vice Chancellor of BIT-Mesra, and Prof Shreepad Karmalkar, Director of IIT-Bhubaneswar, here on Thursday, according to an official release.
“This collaboration with IIT-Bhubaneswar marks another important milestone in BIT Mesra’s pursuit of academic excellence, impactful research, and innovation-led growth,” Manna said.
“This partnership reflects the shared vision of IIT-Bhubaneswar and BIT-Mesra to promote collaborative research, academic excellence, and knowledge exchange.
