Patna/Munger, Aug 14 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Friday hoisted the tricolour at his official residence here as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

The nationwide campaign initiated by the Union government encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes, offices and workplaces.

“Today, on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, I hoisted the national flag in remembrance of the martyrs of India’s Independence struggle,” Choudhary said in a social media post with photographs of the event.

He also urged people to hoist the national flag at their homes and become part of this “mega campaign of patriotism”.

“Upload your pictures with the tricolour on social media to take this public participation programme to every home,” he added.

Choudhary also participated in a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ at Ambedkar Chowk in Munger, his home district. PTI SUK ACD
