New Delhi, Jul 13 (PTI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will organise Hanuman Chalisa recitals and prayers across the 250 wards of Delhi from Tuesday, the party’s Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj said on Monday.
The party will also hold discussions with people on Ayodhya Ram Mandir donation theft and continue its signature campaign on the matter to be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“From Tuesday, Hanuman Chalisa will be recited at 250 locations across Delhi’s 250 wards, followed by ‘aarti’ of Lord Ram and Hanuman. Discussions will also be held with people on the issues related to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir,” Bharadwaj said.
The announcement comes a day after AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched a nationwide signature campaign at Japanese Park in Rohini following a Sundarkand recital.
The party said the campaign will also be taken up in other states. PTI SHB SHB VN VN
