Kushinagar (UP), Jun 27 (PTI) Three people, including two women, died on the spot after a car collided head-on with their motorcycle on the Hata-Pipraich road in Ahirauli Bazar police station area of Kushinagar district on Saturday, police said.
According to the police, Vivek Singh, 25, Shalu, 31, and Madhuri, 55, were travelling on a motorcycle to Gorakhpur for medical treatment.
Kasaya Circle Officer Kundan Kumar Singh said that the accused car driver has been detained.
The head-on collision occurred at around 1.30 pm near Sonbarsa Pattan on the Hata-Pipraich road. The motorcycle rider, Singh, along with the two women, died at the spot.
