Bihar: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, the chief ministerial face of the opposition’s alliance in the Bihar assembly election, has been busy campaigning as his party is trying hard to return to power.
According to the seat-sharing pact of the Grand Alliance in the state, the RJD is contesting on 144 seats and the Congress on 70 of the total 243 seats. While the first of the three-phase election got over on 28 October, the second phase will take place Tuesday.
The third phase is on 7 November.
Tejashwi, son of former Bihar chief ministers Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav, usually leaves his house around 9 am every day and returns to Patna after attending 13-14 rallies in a day. He has been aggressively campaigning against the Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) government.
ThePrint’s National Photo Editor Praveen Jain captured these exclusive photos of Tejashwi Yadav at his residence and also while campaigning.
