New Delhi: Babu Khan, a father in Northeast Delhi’s Mustafabad, made the most gruelling journey of his life on foot Saturday evening, bearing the dead bodies of his two young sons.

It was around 5 pm when the bodies of the two brothers — Amir Khan (30) and Hashim Ali (19), who were allegedly stripped and then killed during the riots in Northeast Delhi — were released by Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, after a postmortem.

The two were among the 43 people who were killed across Northeast Delhi.

Devastated, Babu Khan first took the bodies to their home in Mustafabad, where Amir’s two daughters aged 4 and 2 years, awaited their father’s return.

The bodies were first kept at their home in Old Mustafabad, where thousands of people gathered to offer condolences to the family, and then began what Babu Khan called the most “arduous journey” of his life — carrying his two dead sons to the cemetery on his shoulder.

  1. Virendra kumar started his write-up as nothing can justify this incident then why he himself trying to justify it. Second he writes that he is not following Kapil Mishra, So, why he is believing that Muslims are following Molvi or Politicians like Kapil Mishra and Anurag thakur. Third this is also a fact that from the speech of Kapil Mishra and Anurag thakur some people killed innocent lives.

  2. Ms Sana is wrong because revenge is not a solution for anything. But you are also wrong Mr. Human please show some huminity to give some value to your name. Islam is largest following religion of this world after Christian and Whole world is discussing about this brutality done by some people on the name of religion.

  3. It is unfortunate that these two young boys died along with so many in the Delhi riots. There is no justification for these riots but unless the lessons are taken there is no point in talking about that. So many videos are out on Chandbagh, Shahin Bagh etc, Tahir Hussain and his house has also come into the limelight . I for one is not supporting any Kapil Mishra etc but the situation is not as simple as it looks to be. If a policeman can be killed, IB official can be killed and ACP and DCP can be cornered and stone pelted by women, the community can not just say that they do not have any hand. What is the role of print or electronic media? They are the one who is instigating one community against other. The Print is not the exception, otherwise what is the point in giving a detailed story about the unfortunate event and generating another emotional discussion on the issue. Muslim community and its leadership have to introspect where they are and where they wish to take the community ahead. Did they gain anything by Shaheen bagh and people like Harsh Mander and so many Maulanas who wish to come to limelight with the help of provocative speeches? Their public posture and private posture is so different that it is seen to be believed. Each one of us is to be blamed .

  4. Biggest burden a man can have is the corpse of a grown up child. May god give strength to Babu Khan and all others who have to carry this unbearable burden.

  5. Thank you Praveen Jain for doing what you have done–make me cry. Anybody with a heart will now know what has happened in this capital city of India.Death is really cruel but when it happens with two young men in one family and nobody knows why they had to die.How does one console this family?

  6. BJP has hired an army for few thousand rupee per month for social media. All responses above are reflective of that.

  7. The BJP is simply proving that Jinnah was perhaps right. This Nazi outfit has blood on its hands, the blood of innocent Indians who were singled out for needless violence merely because they were Muslims.

  8. This is really sad. Grieve for every single death. Dear PRINT why didnt you post about gruesome murder of Ankit Sharma???? Do you ever knew about the way he was tortured , killed and dumped ????? Is it because he belongs to some other religion. Stop your grievance with religion . Post about every murder

  9. We lost our Son Guy at 25 in a Road accident 24 years ago and can relate to the grievous loss that All the Parents of the victims of the Delhi Riots are going through, albeit the reason of our Son`s death being a whole lot different to theirs. I couldn`t help but have tears when seeing the photo of Babu Khan, the Father of these two needlessly-slain young Men, as he was seen in a vehicle carrying their bodies while holding the papers that declared them dead in his hand with his head Bowed in Grief. …. Humanity within us is the Prime thing to possess and should always be placed above Religions .

  10. Till we are the slave of our politicians sadly it will go on. We need to take our own decesion rather than following politicians which I feel do not have any religion. For them power is the only religion and they can go any extent to get the power.

    • We also have to respond in more violent ways than they might have jusdged. The Nation Breakers & government supported roiters shall must be killed.

  11. Should i start ISLAM propoganda like reply in comment, why only 2 bodies, there was no other dead, rest of people just vanish
As they have started when we wish to catch culprit of Ankit sharma, even their so called intellectuals JAVED AKTHAR…

though my condolences, everyone has right to live until they are thriving to kill anybody else …

    • Ms Sana….why don’t you show same zeal and join Indian army and go to Kashmir to fight pakistani bastards….why make it Hindu Muslim issue…all Hindu are not bad and neighther all.muslms terrorists but why then from USA to Europe to Africa to China to India to Myanmar only one community is getting maligned…we need thorough introspection without bias.

      • Mr. Human please show some huminity to give some value to your name. Islam is largest following religion of this world after Christian and Whole world is discussing about this brutality done by some people on the name of religion.

    • PRINT -RANA AAYUB- MAGSAYSAY AWARDI RAVISH -PRANOY JAMES ROY -QUINT – HINDU- NEW YORK TIMES- WASHINGTON TIMES – CNN-BBC- REUTERS so on will ONLY FOCUS ON MUSLIM DEATH! THEY WILL SELDOM FEEL THE hum ! FOR ANKIT SHARMA WHO WAS SAID TO BE HAVING 45O SWORD POKES -CUTS-INTESTINES REMOVED-EYE BALLS HANGING FROM HIS BODY- LIVER POPING OUT OF HIS RIBS -HANDS CUT IN PIECES ! THESE PAID PROPOGANDER WILL NEVER SEE A DRILL MACHINE SCREWDED THREW SKULL OF 19 YR OLD boy sitting at his shop .and there are 30 more such which did not touch the hearts of these LYUTENS FAKE PROPOGANDA SETTERS !! CHOORE ULTA KOTWAL KO DATEIN !! DEMOCRACY IS IN DANGER — MUSLIMS ARE SCARED !! AFTER ALL THIS HAPPENED IN MUSLIM MAJORITY AREA N THE MOB WAS 2 LAKH MUSLIMS DOING THIS ALONE !!RELIGION OF piece !! after all

      • True. At an emotional level, one feels sad for anyone who has been killed unnecessarily but why is the media being biased? Because that is what it is being paid to do.

  12. On what basis you are saying Muslims initiated jihad against India. The Delhi high Court accounted 4 bjp leaders as the reason for this riot.

    • PFI-OCI -ISIS- PAKISTAN -AFGANISTAN N 57 COUNTRIES WAAHABI MULLAHS MET IN NEPAL ON 14-15 FEB .TAHI WAS THEIR GO TO PERSON in DELHI , he won n thus all gates were opened for free transport of weapons – funds – guns etc from UP N NEPAL . weapons were of china made !! Saudi provided all the funds 200lakh crores !! can u imagine ?? my friend it is a huge business !! CONGRESS was quiet in DELHI cos congress was part of this plan thus their all anti national BRIAN WASHING SPEECHES . common man is dying ,u folks need to under stand . these mullahs and 4 lakh leasders ulemas etc will sit in AC CABINS ENJOY EVERTHING BUT WILL USE COMMON MUSLIM AS TOOL TO SPREAD DESTRUCTION . IN PAKISTAN 50% OF POPULATION THRIVES ON TERRORISM BUSSINESS . TRY TO UNDER STAND N ASK UR LEADERS TO STOP BRAIN WASHING DESTRUCTIVE AGANDA . OCI AGENDA IS OPEN ON LINE –PLEASE GOOGLE

    • Muslims may not have initiated jihad, but a section of it took advantage of anti CAA protests to unleash murder and mayhem. Haven’t you read reports about PFI. Haven’t you seen the Facebook pages of Jamia Milia sheroes? They claim they want to establish a government ‘under divine guidance’, which obviously means an islamic theocracy. One of the placards held by the protesters said that the parliament should be dissolved and there should be fresh ballot. I see the hand of those elite who were feeding from the trough with both the trotters in the trough, but are left destitute.
I happened to listen to the women in Shaheen Bagh and they are genuinely scared of being turned out of India or sent to detention camp. To make matters worse this government doesn’t enjoy the trust of the Muslims. We have had a deadlock now and forces inimical to the unity and integrity of India have taken advantage of the situation. The government hasn’t covered itself with glory. Usually, no chakka jam lasts for more than three hours. It has been on for 3 months with no end in sight.

  13. This is utterly painful to see the photos. We are sitting in our comfort and just typing whereas some people right at this moment must be facing the most horrific time of their life. And still I see people comparing and demeaning.
What have we become, what are we going to gain out of these killings? Think please. Bhagwan ne sab ko banaya aur sahi rasta bhi bataya karm ka, par hum kya kar rahe hein? Yeh hai hindutva? Kya itna hi bhakt hein hum ki us puroshottam Ram ko humne aatank se jod diya? Uske naam pe lashe bicha di? Kabhi nahi pa sakte hum moksh. Mein sirf apne dharm ka bolunga. Kyon neta apne bachchon ko nahi poochte desh prem? Kyon humare hi bachche deshbhakti ki pareeksha dein? Kabhi poocha hai?? Nahi kyonki hum aaj jaini mota bhai se Hindutva ka gyan le rahe hein.. uske hisaab se Hindu chal raha hai.. woh sochega hamara bhala?? Socho zaroor socho…

    • Islam doesn’t teach you this. Our prophet never wished or prayed ill about the ones who use to torture him. .Islam believes in peace…..that what we say when we greet each other…’ Salaam ‘ meaning ‘may peace be upon you.’. May we all Indians live in peace….Ameen

  14. I have sympathy for the family members of Babu khan. Should not have happened with anyone. I also wish the gruesome murder of Ankit Sharma should also be told to the entire world with same template. Otherwise telegram is waste.

  15. Though I have my sympathy with Babu Khan, this should not have happened with any Indian, but death of Ankit Sharma and Ratan lal should have got same coverage and so many photographs. Otherwise, print is biased. Period.

    • This article is from the perspective of that family.. yes there are more victims in our side too but you have the govt in your side, the police and goons. Stop crying like a baby for a share of crap in everything. Moron

      • What government? There are many reports that police didn’t respond to distress calls from Hindus either. These pictures are going to make some Dawood Ibrahim to set off bombs in crowded markets in Delhi. Many more innocent lives will be lost because of these pictures and theprint should be held to account. I understand that the intention is to shame Muslim haters, but I am afraid things can go horribly wrong. Bombs can’t distinguish between Hindus and Muslims. I think this is blatantly partisan.

  16. As expected … Those who live by the sword die by the sword.

Those who waged Violent Jihad against India (Ghazwa e Hind) in the Delhi Riots will always be countered effectively by the Patriotic Indians.

Any more left ? Bring it on !

    • Please have some shame. His sons are dead. 2 kids have lost their father. If you don’t feel for them then don’t but stop your hate. It will harm you more than you believe

    • Who waged violent jihad against India? Have some shame, Mr Bharat! Keep praying to Bajrang Bali that no bullet pierces your father or son or brother or yourself. Bullets have no eyes. And keep praying harder that Bajrang Bali listens to a “raakshas” like you. Last time around, he sided with Shri Ram and slayed many raakshasas! So your chances are very thin. Apni arthi order Kar de. Ha! Jai Mata di.

    • So long as u r in your comfort zone , u can use innocent poor people to perpetuate hatred . Look inward and seek answer . Do u have any conscience. God forbid that should never happen to u and your dear one .
Least u can do is to spread massage of love . U will get His blessings

    • Aren’t you a rioter? You have blood in your hands. Feel proud to be the one who brought this pain to the families. See the pics above again for your satisfaction. Bloody traiter.

    • If you see interviews. You will get to know these two brothers were travelling back to jome from their grandparents’ place. And on phone call they mentioned they will reach in 5 mins. And family is still waiting for 5 mins to get over.
One day you will understand value of 5 mins.
