Nalanda: A day before Bihar begins its three-phased assembly election, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Tuesday addressed a rally at Islampur in the state’s Nalanda district, his home constituency.

Voting for the first phase of Bihar assembly elections will take place on 28 October, followed by the second phase on 3 November and the final phase on 7 November. Counting of votes of all three phases will take place on 10 November.

In his speech, Kumar made no mention of the RJD-led opposition in the state, speaking only about his own track record in governance. He also listed several development works carried out by him in his home district, as chief minister and even as a union minister earlier.
