New Delhi: As Ahmedabad gears up to welcome US President Donald Trump, who is set to land in India on 24 February for an official two-day visit, pictures of the city’s preparations have gone viral.

In one of them, a freshly painted wall opposite the Motera Stadium features the faces of Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the words ‘USA and India.’ But in the corner there’s also a man who appears to be urinating on the wall with his back turned to the camera.

The photo has been going viral on Facebook and Twitter, with over 1000 likes on the microblogging site.

The picture has gone viral at a time the Gujarat government decided to build a wall to “cover” a slum in the city ahead of Trump’s visit. Those sharing the photo are using this as a cue, saying “The man peeing on the wall, built to hide a slum from Trump’s eyes, represents the real India.”

The photo has even been shared on WhatsApp.

 Picture is photoshopped

The picture doing the rounds isn’t authentic and has been photoshopped to include the urinating man.

The man has been superimposed on a picture of the wall, and has been taken from a 2012 video from New Delhi. It was uploaded by ‘newsofdelhi.in’ to show how “Delhi Metro Walls have become the famous Peeing destination for Delhiites.”
