Health Minister JP Nadda inspects AIIMS Jammu, calls it ‘beacon of hope’

During his visit, the Minister interacted with the faculty, residents, staff, and students of AIIMS Jammu.

Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers Jagat Prakash Nadda, visited the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Vijaypur in Jammu on Sunday, a PIB press release stated.

During his visit, the Minister interacted with the faculty, residents, staff, and students of AIIMS Jammu.

Nadda encouraged the students to continue their research and pursue their dreams. He also assured the AIIMS management of all possible help and support for the institution in ensuring better healthcare access to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

“The AIIMS Jammu is a beacon of hope not only for the people of J&K, but also for that of Leh, and other neighboring states. I am pleased to see the progress of the institute in providing quality healthcare education to the students of Jammu & Kashmir”, Nadda said.
