New Delhi: Kim Kardashian’s loungewear and shapewear brand SKIMS is set to make its India debut. It will be the brand’s first standalone brick-and-mortar store in Asia.

In collaboration with Reliance Brands Limited, SKIMS will launch stores in Delhi and Mumbai. The “new chapter” was announced across social media on 5 August.

The India expansion comes a month after Kardashian opened its first London store.

“The excitement we’ve seen from our community in India has been truly incredible, and we can’t wait to welcome them in our stores for the very first time,” said Kardashian, co-founder and chief creative officer, in an official statement.

Reliance Retail Ventures Limited director Isha Ambani said that SKIMS “speaks directly to a new generation of Indian consumers” looking for fashion that combines aspiration with comfort.

The partnership takes place only months after Kardashian visited Mumbai, along with her sister, Khloe, for Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s star-studded wedding.

Reliance announced its exclusive partnership with Kardashian’s brand in India, further promising a “phased expansion across the country through physical and digital channels.”

“The partnership marks SKIMS’ entry into one of the world’s most dynamic consumer markets. A proud addition to Reliance Brands Limited’s portfolio as we continue to shape the future of premium and luxury retail in India. Welcome to India, SKIMS,” the post read.

The launch marks SKIMS’ entry into the Indian market as the brand continues its international expansion. Alongside London, they also opened stores in Dubai, with launches planned for Hong Kong and Seoul.

Co-founded in 2019 by Kardashian and Jens Grede, the brand’s debut collection sold out in 10 minutes. As of November 2025, SKIMS was valued at $5 billion after receiving a massive $225 million funding round led by Goldman Sachs.

Built on Kardashian’s celebrity persona, the clothing company often utilises influencer marketing. Apart from the Kardashian-Jenner clan advertising the brand, celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton, Kate Moss, Snoop Dogg, and others have also participated in SKIMS campaigns.
