New Delhi: Gurugram Police have started a search for the driver who hit a woman biker with his white sedan in Golf Course Road on Sunday before driving away. The impact of the collision was so forceful that it threw the woman off her sports bike, while the motorcycle was dragged several metres along the road.
“Today was a Sunday ride and I was driving with my biker friends from Golf Course road. This car came there and started chasing me,” the woman, Sia, said in the video.
In the video, Sia says that the driver made some gestures when she asked him to maintain some distance. She claimed the men were drunk and she drove ahead so that they couldn’t stop their car in front of her bike.
“At the same time, my friend on another bike tried to cover me from behind so that the car couldn’t come near me,” she said in the video. But the driver kept chasing her.
Then, he sped up, hit her bike from the side and drove off. Sia’s friend kept chasing the car and confronted the driver at the red light. But after a brief altercation, he drove away, she said.
