New Delhi: In a video posted on Instagram Thursday, actor Akshay Kumar said he drinks cow urine every day “for Ayurvedic reasons”.
The video is from a recent live Instagram session that Kumar had with wildlife adventurer Bear Grylls and actor Huma Qureshi, his co-star in the upcoming movie Bell Bottom.
In the clip, Kumar is seen replying to Qureshi’s question on how Grylls convinced him to drink “elephant poop tea” while filming for Grylls’ show called ‘Into the Wild‘.
Kumar also said he was too “excited” to get worried about having elephant poop tea and that he knew he was in safe hands.
Grylls, meanwhile, told Qureshi, “I don’t know how we ended up doing that (having ‘elephant poop tea’) but it wasn’t too bad…”

‘Fun guy with no ego’
Kumar and Grylls spoke about their experiences while shooting in the Bandipur National Park and Tiger Reserve in Karnataka for the show. The Special 26 actor said he has requested Grylls for “another sequel” if this one does well.
Grylls praised Kumar in the video, saying he was a “fun guy with no ego”. He also acknowledged Kumar’s “humility” and said he was impressed with the actor’s physical fitness.
“AK is so physically fit, that it was fun for me to push him a bit. He is so up for doing stuff, I have noticed in my life that when people become super famous they stop doing things outside of their comfort zone because they get scared of looking vulnerable,” Grylls said.
Apart from Kumar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth have also featured in Grylls’ show. The episode featuring Kumar will premiere on 11 September on Discovery Plus app and on 14 September in the Discovery Channel.

As usual, because the article is about Akshay Kumar, there is an undertone of disapproval and disbelief. This is one reason why The Print has low credibility. You folk are so biased and full of hate, that you can’t hide it.
