(Reuters) – The government of Singapore has committed up to $500 million in concessional funding to support the local central bank’s initiative to help fund Asia-focused climate projects, a senior official said at a conference on Tuesday.

The initiative, called “Financing Asia’s Transition Partnership”, which uses a combination of public and private sector funding, was launched in 2023.
