KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) – Malaysia on Thursday launched a decarbonisation plan for the aviation sector, targeting achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

The blueprint includes plans to reduce carbon emissions by up to 18% in aircraft technology, and increasing the use of sustainable aviation fuel, including biofuels and other alternatives, the transport ministry said in a statement.
