New Delhi: Sony Pictures released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day on 21 July. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker in the film, which will release in India on 30 July.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film also stars Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds. Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle, or the Punisher, while Mark Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink has joined the cast in a role that has not yet been revealed.
The recent trailer, captioned, “Peter’s Journey,” recaps the events leading to the latest movie. In Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), the world forgets that Parker is Spider-Man, including his loved ones.
Parker is now living alone after Doctor Strange’s spell, and back to fighting street-level crime in New York before introducing Castle. The trailer also features the Hulk and teases several other threats and villains. Spider-Man is further seen taking on a giant monster that appears to be rampaging through the city.
The emotional trailer left Marvel Cinematic Universe fans excited but many focused on Parker’s loneliness. The trailer also drummed up intrigue about new characters, including further suspicion about Sink’s unrevealed character.

We aren’t ready for the emotional damage. July 29th, IM SO NOT READY MANNN! I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE HOBGOBLIN AND MANSPIDER,” read one YouTube comment.
While one fan questioned Banner’s appearance, writing, “How is Banner back to his old Hulk form after he combined himself with Hulk in Endgame?”
“That scorpion guy looks like he can tell us the definition of Insanity,” commented another.
