Mumbai: British screenwriter and producer Jemima Goldsmith has married Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly in a private ceremony.
The marriage was confirmed by Goldsmith’s sister-in-law Jemima Jones on September 13. She is married to her brother Ben Goldsmith. Jones posted a photograph of herself and Ben from the wedding on Instagram and wrote, “Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favourite date. What a happy day!” She did not post a photograph of Goldsmith and O’Reilly.
Fifty-two-year-old Goldsmith, who was earlier married to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, got engaged to O’Reilly, 62, in May after dating for a little over a year. The two reportedly met through their work in film and documentary production. O’Reilly has worked as an executive producer, while Goldsmith runs Instinct Productions and has worked as both a screenwriter and producer.
Goldsmith’s film and television credits include The Bibi Files documentary, 2022 film Joyland, docuseries The Clinton Affair, and TV drama Impeachment: American Crime Story. She also wrote and produced the 2022 romantic comedy What’s Love Got to Do with It?
Goldsmith married cricketer Imran Khan in 1995. The two got divorced in 2004 after nine years of marriage. They have two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan.
O’Reilly was born in Dublin and holds Irish and Australian citizenship. An Oxford graduate, he worked at Goldman Sachs and later in his family’s media businesses before founding private equity firm Bayard Capital in 2003. He is the son of the late Sir Anthony O’Reilly, an Irish businessman, media executive, and former international rugby player.
Goldsmith and O’Reilly have not yet publicly commented on their marriage.
