New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the last date for the submission of entries for its Financial Literacy Ideathon, a project aimed at promoting financial literacy among  students.

The project, which was announced on February 26, 2024, had a March 20, 2024 deadline for submission. It is now being extended to April 15, 2024, the RBI said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the RBI, the extension of the timeline is in view of the requests received from the students for an extension of the timeline. The students are asked to submit the project proposals in typed form online or by post.

Each entry also needs to be accompanied by the college/institution’s ID card. The Financial Literacy Ideathon is part of the RBI’s efforts to promote financial literacy and innovation among young students.
