IREDA achieves highest-ever annual loan sanctions and disbursements in financial year 2023-24

According to the company, its total loan sanctions reached Rs. 37,354 crores, while the loan disbursements totaled Rs. 25,089 crores.

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), the largest pure-play green financing NBFC in India, has achieved its highest-ever annual loan sanctions and disbursements in the financial year 2023-24. The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has disclosed a record-breaking amount of loans sanctioned and disbursed in the fiscal year 2023-24.

According to the company, its total loan sanctions reached Rs. 37,354 crores, while the loan disbursements totaled Rs. 25,089 crores. This resulted in a growth rate of 26.71 percent in the loan book, which now stands at Rs. 59,650 crores.

Pradip Kumar Das, chairman and managing director of IREDA, said, “IREDA’s record loan sanctions and disbursements for the financial year 2023-24 underscore our untiring commitment to driving the renewable energy revolution in the country.”

He expressed his gratitude for the support of stakeholders, business partners, and investors. He also stated that IREDA is committed to continuing its support for the country’s renewable energy goals in the coming years.
