Public, loud, upfront, filled with impropriety and high praise sometimes laced with insults. This is what we call Trumplomacy. But the larger objective is the same: American supremacy.
In 1960 to 1995, getting 60% in 10th class or Intermediate is difficult. Even in Engineering also only 5% students get more than 70%. But now more than 60% students get more than 70%. This is because of state boards in case of 10th class and Intermediate. Educational minister wants more pass percentage compared to lost year. And in case of Engineering it is because of AICTE & University. What is the basis on which AICTE had granted permission to lot of engineering colleges and 40% to 50% seats are vacant now. Now 20% to 30% colleges has to be closed. What about the fate of staff in those colleges. What about the infrastructure created already. Most of it goes to dust bin. Natural resources of the country is lost without deriving the full benefit. Why the top cream of country is not entering in to teaching? Because you are generating people to run towards money. Read a story in news papers that lady (age more than 80%) is selling idlis 1000 daily at R’s 1/- per idli for past 10 years and Rs 0.50/- for 20 years before that and earning Rs 200/- daily now. Also using sustainable technologies. She is preparing grinded rice with mortar using hand. How much of electrical energy is saved by her. If we assume cost of idli Rs 5/-. Then daily income lost by her is Rs 4000/-. She is saving for people every month Rs 1,20,000/- Why the graduated students does not have any confidence in life. Why the top managers and CEO not happy with high salaries. First start in primary education.
Also 40% posts are vacant in Govt. Institutions for more than 10 years. Government should set an example in running the Institutions with Principles and Values.

As Dr. K S K said in the comments Management and Faculty both has to be regularized. First government has to examine the private college faculties workload, since nowadays in most of the colleges Faculties are given only the documentation work ( for NAAC, NBA, Etc.) and Admission work ( in more than 80% of the private institutions). Government has to reconsider the Student Faculty ratio and has to strictly come forward to identify the fake faculty list and has to first make sure of Digital Campus (where all the in and out transactions in colleges should be cashless).
Thousands of engineering colleges. All worthless. We should shutdown many engineering money shops first. Then we should make sure that Institutes of National importance have quality faculty which involves having a top class PhD at first hand other than Postdoc. Then only they can join. There are NITs where faculty is MTech. Disgusting. See low ranked American Universities and their faculty research and knowledge.
I welcome Mr.Sifodia’s suggestions regarding AICTE future faculty, these aspects may enhance the standards of teaching and there by brings perfection in the field.

In my days to get approval from University as a lecturer , ME with 2 years industrial experience was must. But meanwhile Only BE WAS sufficient to become lecturer. This is the cause for today’s engineering education which is totally out of society and engineer to become non employable.
Good move towards better education delivery. But why only Engineering but make to all other faculties.
There is a dearth of students in all private engineering colleges , see how u can make them economically viable. Teachers’ salary and timely disbursement is a genuine problem to be focused.
This course to be made mandatory to all faculty members in service and all colleges like govt , sided, technological university, departments.
Obviously, It’s a good turn towards better and quality of students. My query is Do you know how many colleges are offering salary for the faculty as per the norms. Even univ and govt officials are aware of that. If you implement this training is mandatory for faculty. Please make the same rule regarding salary and workload issues for the management also, because change to be happend on both sides.
I do agree with the need of cutting age technology training of faculty . But the teaching or training is the affair of teachers as well students, quality of students ( 45% marks at 12th & non zero score in enterence exam) entering in engineering education is very poor. So pl. 1. Increase the minimum eligibility 2. Reduce intake 50% 3. Industry trainings for students
Otherwise all efforts of AICTE will remain useless.
What will be minimum percentage required required to eligable for this entrance test? in both UG & PG

A teacher can never be measured. The technique also must be unique. May be interviews can judge them better.
