What sin did Tvm do elect this lad?
Tharoor must remember that before this wave, there was another wave against corruption combined with the wave against the Nirbhaya incident. Both together brought the BJP to power because people like Tharoor thought they were above it all. All UPA and Congress leaders just gave perfunctory statements and were hiding behind their security.
While all this was happening, Tharoor himself is an accused in a cricketing scandal followed by accusation of his wife’s murder which he tried to influence.
Tharoor, first cleanse yourself, or you will remain a hypocrite in everyone’s eyes for life. The more journals and magazines like THE PRINT provide you the freedom to express yourselves but never to common Indians, the more you and the media supporting you move away from ground realities.
Last heard, the protesters of Shaheen Bagh, having come down from their demand that Prime Minister of the country meets them on their turf, have gone to the LG of Delhi looking for a face saving exit route. These “made for media” events have a short shelf life. Ultimately, it is the will of the silent majority that will prevail.
The will of the silent and not-so-silent majority is ani-CAA-anti-NRC.
Who will save your soul, Mr. Tharoor? You have sold your heart and soul to the Italian woman who as best can be called semi literate.
