China’s military parade, with Putin and others in attendance, was Xi Jinping’s way of defying Donald Trump and the West. The leaders who gathered represent two-thirds of the world’s nuclear arsenal. For India, the warning is stark: Pakistan will eventually get scaled-down versions of several advanced, non-nuclear weapons displayed there.

Umar Khalid and others are unjustly denied bail. This isn’t how modern democracies behave

The continued denial of bail to Umar Khalid and nine others is unjust and cynical. Nobody should be imprisoned for this long without trial or bail over a speech. This isn’t how modern democracies behave. If the state indeed has the evidence, it should just get on with the trial.

  1. A very impressive military parade, especially when compared with what President Trump rustled up for America’s 250th birthday party.

  2. The Print has it’s priorities crystal clear.
First priority is stray dogs and their rights. Second is anti-India and/or anti-Hindu political leaders/activists and their fundamental rights.
A cursory glance at the editorials clearly reveals the “causes” close to it’s heart.
