Numbing images of bodies floating in rivers isn’t just a reflection of overflowing cremation, burial grounds but also of state apathy. Government isn’t able to augment hospital, oxygen and vaccine capacity quickly, but it should help people cremate/bury the dead with dignity. This is the least it can do.
