This isn’t about prestige, but national interest. Let regional dynamics play out. This is West Asia managing its crises, not a stage for Indian insertion.

Government’s move to advance implementation of women’s reservation in the middle of elections is par for the course. BJP should’ve shown equal haste and sincerity in allotting tickets to women — 7% in Assam and 12% in West Bengal. Other parties are no better. Political hypocrisy aside, it’s a welcome move.

Reprisal of attacks on Palestinians in West Bank are acts of terrorism

The spate of deadly reprisal attacks against Palestinians by Jewish settlers in West Bank are acts of terrorism. There’s no moral justification for their violent rampage, assaulting Palestinians and setting fire to homes, cars and farms. IDF itself had expressed frustration at the sharp spike in settler attacks in 2025.
