Chandrababu Naidu’s return brings Andhra Pradesh a welcome opportunity to revive Amaravati. Andhra desperately needs a capital, and India new cities. It’s unfortunate that the Jagan government scuppered Amaravati and floated the bizarre three-capital idea. Naidu also has leverage with Centre to restore sanity and make Amaravati his signature project.
