Biren Singh must not be held responsible for the current situation in Manipur. It’s the Manipur High Court and it’s judges who must be held accountable. They are the ones whose judgements have resulted in the ethnic violence in Manipur.
The only reason the media is gunning for Biren Singh is because he is from the BJP. If he had been from the Congress or any other political party, the media would have rallied behind him.
The Left-liberal media has a soft corner for illegal immigrants from Myanmar as that also buttresses their secular credentials. But the on ground reality is that these illegal immigrants are the ones running the narco-terrorist rackets in north-eastern India. Being a resident of Assam, I am well aware of the situation. The continued presence of such elements within India is a matter of grave security threat.
Nitish Rane was spot on with his remarks. The whole world knows that Kerala sends the highest number if recruits to ISIS and other Islamic Jihadi terror outfits. Islamic fundamentalism and fanaticism is a lived reality of modern day Kerala.
Rane spoke the truth. No wonder he is being hounded by the Left-liberal secular cabal.
What’s surprising though is that The Print also chose to go after him. Maybe he is a soft target.
Biren Singh’s apology was a serious and heartfelt one. Am sure The Print would have praised and supported him if he had been a Congress CM.
