EC transferring top Delhi Police officer after violence linked to anti-CAA/NRC protests is a strong indictment of the force’s failure. Its handling of recent political unrest doesn’t inspire confidence about its neutrality. The force should recall how its image was sullied for its role in the anti-Sikh riots and course-correct.
