India decided not to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, citing “political tensions” between the two countries. The hand gesture Gautam Gambhir directed at a cricket stadium crowd chanting “Kohli, Kohli” is simply bad behaviour. He is a former international cricketer, a commentator and a member of Parliament. This conduct ill behoves him, especially toward supporters who have made the game and cricketers what they are today.
