Rwanda to start Marburg vaccine trials, health official says

KIGALI (Reuters) – Rwanda is poised to start vaccine and therapeutic clinical trials to treat Marburg viral disease, state minister for health Yvan Butera said on Thursday.

The disease, first confirmed in the country late in September, has killed 11 people to date, with 36 cases reported, health ministry data shows.
