BEIJING (Reuters) -Russian President Vladimir Putin and United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres will be among the 30 heads of government or international organisations attending the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Summit, China announced on Friday.

The meeting, scheduled to take place in the Chinese city of Tianjin from August 31-September 1, will focus on neighbourhood diplomacy, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin told a news conference on the summit’s preparations.
