MOSCOW, April 20 (Reuters) – A German citizen has been detained in Russia’s Stavropol region for planning a “terrorist attack” at a law enforcement facility, Russian media reported on Monday.

State news agency RIA cited the Federal Security Service (FSB) as saying the 57 year old German woman had been arrested with a bomb in her rucksack in the city of Pyatigorsk.

It said that the bomb she had been carrying was to have been detonated by “an Islamist from Central Asia”.

Reuters was unable to immediately verify the details of the reports.
