BUCHAREST (Reuters) -Romania’s centrist president Nicusor Dan nominated Liberal Party leader Ilie Bolojan as prime minister on Friday after weeks of negotiations to form a coalition government that tackles the largest budget deficit in the European Union.

Bolojan is expected to ask parliament to give his four-party government its vote of confidence next week.
