(Reuters) -A vehicle drove into a crowd on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles early on Saturday, injuring more than 20 people, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
At least four victims were in critical condition and at least eight others are seriously injured while around 15 are reported to be in fair condition, the alert said.
The cause of the incident was not immediately known.
The West Santa Monica Boulevard location in East Hollywood provided by the LAFD is near a music venue, according to news channel CNN.
The incident occurred at around 0900 GMT, and the LAFD said it was coordinating patient triage and transport.
