BELFAST, April 26 (Reuters) – An attempted murder investigation has begun after a car explosion on Saturday night outside a police station south of Belfast, Northern Ireland’s police service said on Sunday.

“We have commenced an attempted murder investigation which will be led by our Terrorism Investigation Unit,” the force said in a statement.
