MEXICO CITY, April 20 (Reuters) – Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Monday that the government would look into whether national security law was violated, after U.S. officials were involved in anti-cartel operations in the northern state of Chihuahua.

Two U.S. officials and two Mexican officials were killed in a car crash on Sunday while involved in efforts to combat cartel operations. Sheinbaum said she did not know the U.S. officials were working directly with local authorities.
