MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -Mexican authorities have detected another case of the flesh-eating screwworm parasite in the northern border state of Nuevo Leon, the nation’s agriculture ministry said on Monday.
The screwworm larvae, which infest and can kill livestock if untreated, in the detected case were all found dead or dying as a result of mandatory treatments, the ministry added in a statement.
