(Reuters) -Flight tracking service FlightRadar24 said there are fresh reports of drone sightings at Aalborg in Denmark early on Friday.

Flight Kl1289 returned to Amsterdam and flight SK1225 from Copenhagen was canceled, FlightRadar24 said in a post on X.

The airspace over Aalborg Airport was closed as of 23:40 local time (21:40 GMT) Thursday night after suspected drones in the area, police told news agency Ritzau.

Police said they had not yet been able to verify the sighting of a drone.

“The airspace over Aalborg Airport has been reopened on Friday at 00:35 (22:35 GMT) after having been shut down due to suspicion of drone activity,” police said in a post on social media X.

This is the second night in a row the airspace over Aalborg Airport has been closed. The same happened on Wednesday night after drones were observed near the airport.
