(Reuters) – Property tycoon Ong Beng Seng, who was named in several charges to which Singapore’s former transport minister was found guilty, is scheduled for a criminal mention on Oct. 4, Singapore Courts’ hearing list showed on Thursday.

Former minister S. Iswaran was sentenced to 12 months in prison earlier in the day for obstructing justice and receiving more than $300,000 worth of gifts, in the first jailing of an ex-cabinet member in the city-state famous for its clean governance.
