BRASILIA (Reuters) – Brazilian Finance Minister Fernando Haddad presented fiscal proposals under discussion to other cabinet members and to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in a meeting on Monday, his ministry said, but no decisions were announced.

Haddad did not speak with journalists after the meeting, and his ministry said Lula’s chief of staff will hear from other ministries on Tuesday about the proposals.

Haddad said earlier on Monday that the measures could be announced this week.
