ASEAN-China Week 2024 to focus on trade, investment & tourism

The week-long event was officially opened in the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Community and Corporate Affairs.

New Delhi: H.E. Nararya S. Soeprapto, the Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Community and Corporate Affairs Monday participated in the opening ceremony of the ASEAN-China Week 2024 in Changzhi, China. The week-long event aims to promote trade, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two regions, an ASEAN press release stated.

The opening ceremony was attended by high-level officials from the trade and investment sectors, as well as ambassadors and representatives from the Embassies of the ASEAN Member States in China.

The ASEAN-China Centre, in collaboration with Changzhi City, has organised this event to foster cooperation and understanding among officials, business leaders, and stakeholders from ASEAN and China. The event aims to enhance economic prosperity and promote people-to-people ties between the two regions.
